Lynne Splinter, Queen of Cabbagetown

Photo of Lynne Splinter and her catLynne Splinter has practiced both residential and commercial real estate since 1976. She studied architecture and fine arts at the University of Florida, and practiced real estate in Jacksonville, Florida for several years before moving to Atlanta and joining a Atlanta commercial real estate firm, where she served as National Marketing & Sales Manager. Lynne moved to New York City in 1986, and joined one of her former clients, a legal search firm, placing real estate attorneys around the world.

Lynne returned to her favorite city- Atlanta, in 1994. She purchased and restored a 1905 victorian home in the then redeveloping neighborhood of Cabbagetown and has been an active member of the community ever since. She has had a leadership role in the Cabbagetown Neighborhood Improvement Association and the Cabbagetown Initiative Community Development Corporation, which has been instrumental in the planning and development of the new Cabbagetown park and community center.

Lynne is a life member of the Atlanta Board of Realtor’s Million Dollar Club. In 2005 she received the Phoenix Award for 10 consecutive years of achieving Million Dollar Club membership.

Lynne’s personal and professional real estate experience and community activism enable her to provide her clients with expert guidance regarding the buying and marketing of homes in Atlanta’s redeveloped and redeveloping intown neighborhoods.
